Celebrate spring in beautiful Taranaki with a vibrant showcase of gardens and creativity. Explore a stunning collection of private and public gardens set against the backdrop of Mount Taranaki, from grand country estates to intimate urban retreats.

Now in its 39th year, the Taranaki Garden Festival is one of New Zealand’s premier spring garden festivals. Showcasing almost 40 spectacular gardens, from exciting new creations to magnificent mature landscapes, this festival is truly one of a kind.

The festival programme is released late July and as such some gardens mentioned in the itinerary may not be participating in this year's festival. Gardens will be substituted with a similar style garden.

The Gardener

Twilight Travel & Tours, is a New Zealand-owned and operated business, specialising in group tours for the mature traveller. Our coach tours are leisurely paced, personal and intimate with a maximum of 20 - 24 passengers.

All our tours are escorted by a professional tour manager and include accommodation, breakfasts, dinners and some lunches. All admissions to gardens, attractions and activities are included and there are no hidden extra costs.

Accommodation is at The Devon Hotel. The hotel has a buffet restuarant, bar, heated swimming pool, spa, and located a few minutes walk for the coastal walkway.
