The Jassy Dean Trust Waiheke Garden Festival returns on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026.
Held every two years, the festival welcomes visitors to beautiful Waiheke Island for a joyful spring weekend filled with gardens, creativity and community spirit. Wander through a curated collection of stunning private gardens, enjoy live music, discover local art, savour delicious food, and browse an impressive plant sale.
The Waiheke Garden Festival is the principal fundraiser for the Jassy Dean Trust, with all proceeds supporting local children and families facing health challenges, medical emergencies, illness, disability and developmental needs.

Bus tour. Fullers 360 offers a wonderful bus tour option to visit selected gardens for those not wishing to drive. Book ahead as seats are limited. Buses leave at 10 am from Matiatia for those arriving off the 9 am ex-Auckland ferry.
Although the festival is a self-drive event many of our gardens have difficult road access and Waiheke has very narrow, windy roads. Please comply with all parking signage.
We invite you to self-drive but please be aware that access to some properties can get crowded and patience is needed for parking. We encourage carpooling wherever possible.
Light refreshments and drinks to purchase at some of the gardens. We have also partnered with a selection of the island's best cafes and restaurants who are offering special deals for ticket holders. See the website for full details.
